Some of our very best buddies, Ireland and Chloe (and their mom Kimmi) are getting ready to move. Their dad is coming home from Iraq so they get to go back to OK in time to welcome him home. Ellis has been dying to go to the park with them so we thought we should fit it in before they headed out of town. We went on Monday and took the new kite Ellis bought at a yard sale. The weather was nice a sunny with just enough wind to fly the shark. I think fun was had by all!

Looks like you had a perfect day to fly kites. It is obvious that everyone had a wonderful time! I think Ellis will be sorry to see his buddies leave.
We had a blast! I know the girls will miss your kiddos! But, rest assured, we will be back for plenty of visits!

What a great time! I hate hearing that the buddies are movine but they can visit and who knows, maybe one day to might want to make the trip to OK.

What fun it was to look through your blog pictures and movies. Ellis has grown so much, still cute as can be and personality. Alaire and I share a birthday. Hope she is more excited about those yearly celebrations than I am.
