What does my future hold?

8:00pm Ellis' bedtime.

8:45pm Michael and Ellis are only getting louder with the giggling.

8:50pm Mommy enters and says "we are going to WV tomorrow and you two need to go to bed."

8:55pm Wammy enters and moves Michael to Sarah's room and tells Ellis to return to his bed.

9:00pm Mommy takes the finger picture as she listens to Ellis screaming "I no want to go to West Virginia." Michael is asleep.

9:05pm Mommy enters and tells Ellis that he will not enjoy it if she returns again.

9:15pm Things were quieting down but now Alaire is awake.

9:20pm Ellis is now on and off with "yuck-a-rama" and "I don't want to go."

9:30pm Mommy is starting to wonder how long it will take to get her children to go to bed like normal children upon her return home.

9:35pm Pappy continues to watch Survivor as Wammy pleads with Mommy to let her go lay with him until he falls asleep. Mommy reminds Wammy this is what started this mess of an evening and would she like to come to CO and do the 8pm-10pm shift everynight?

Sounds like you could have used the help of...... "Super Nanny"! Hope Ellis, Alaire and Mommy were able to get some sleep last night. Have a fun, safe trip to WV.

Love Ya! O'ma

It will likely be about the time we head to Pagosa Springs!

Oh goodness, bedtime. Sounds like Benadryl may have come in handy this particular night...for you OR the kids. I am right there with you.

That's hilarious! (although I'm sure it wasn't for you at the time) Sure makes for a great story, though. I know all about grandparents trying to "spoil" the grandkid. =o) I think it's just been too long since they've been there... =o)

My mom and I have that same fight almost every time we're together! It usually doesn't take too long to get them back on track. :)

Bedtime! With more than one kid, I sometimes think it's like playing whack-a-mole! One down, one up, that one down, the other up again....I love what you said about your mom because that sounds just like something mine would do (despite not doing it with her own kids of course). Hope everybody settled finally! :-)

Let me jsut set the record straight....I am not the mean one here. You should have heard the poor child...it was awful...and those little fingers. I could just see his face all smashed up trying to ease himself under the crack in the door. The next night I just laid in bed and listened to him cry.
