Don't worry Dorothy Hamill will be back tomorrow!

From time to time I like to dedicate my blog postings to certain people that I know will not only be reading, but who I know will thoroughly enjoy what they will be viewing. I would like to take this opportunity to dedicate this post to my dear twin sister Emmy. I am hoping that this will cover over any wrongs our mother has ever done by you through her many postings of pictures that were not okayed in advance by you.

Mom has had the same haircut since our birth. I know this becasue there is a picture of her laying in the hospital bed with two fingers up signaling twins. The same part, the same color.....I mean everyting the same.

Every year Circuit City takes their top employees in the country on a trip. Dad has been invited to go many times and this year he was invited again so they are heading out to LasVegas in about a week. In preperation Emmy and Dad have been talking mom into getting a new hair do. Tonight was the night. She came home with a little color, a new cut, and a new part! I think it looks great, mom of course is unsure and thinks she will probably bring back the old part tomorrow so I pulled out the camera in hopes to record this one moment in time....especially since Emmy hasn't seen it!

Now another thing you may not know is that my mom likes getting her picture taken about as much as she like changing her hairstyle. Honestly I felt like I was attempting to get a shot of my two year old. She can't look at the camera, she will look at the ceiling, she moves her arm right when it takes, she closes her eyes, she licks her lips...whatever it is.....I took about 25 shots and she finally okayed one. At one point she said "just take one more, this ones going to be good." It was hillarious.

She is just like her mom, looks like her too......oh and I can see it now....30 years...Alaire is taking a picture of my new hair cut, the one that is oh so similar to the one I have right now and thinking to herself "so this is me in 30 years."
