weird weird weather!

** side note** the"w" key on my keyboard doesn't work. I'm to cheap to fix it and since I have to copy and past to get a "w" at all I'm to lazy to look for a capital. Sorry! I think my copy and paste "fix" is also what keeps changing the font.

Since in the last t
wo days our high temperature has been 6 degrees, with mostly negative temperatures the rest of the time we have been trying to come up with a few fun things to do inside. Yesterday we decided to play around with some shaving cream on the kitchen table. At first Ellis was a little unsure of getting dirty, as you can see his sister did not share his worry.

** I'm listening to the ne
ws and the weatherman just said it is 0 degrees right now and it is a good sign because we are warming up!

He eventually got into it and by the end Alaire was practicing her name and Ellis was spelling out words I was giving him.

Later that night I had a meeting but that talked Trevor into doing another shaving cream craft that they had done before at a friends house.

I don't have any good pictures but another fun cold activity that
we did was glow in the dark bath time. Target had a pack of 15 glow sticks in their dollar spot so we gave them each a few turned off the lights added bubbles to the water and took a bath in the dark. They had so much fun with that one!

Before it got so cold we got a chance to hang out with some friends of ours that have baby goats. we were able to go into their pen and feed them their dinner. Alaire loved them so much. Ellis really just wanted climb through the barn window and rummage around or crawl under the hay bales to see where they go to sleep. I had to beg for a picture of him feeding them.

There is another new blog below so keep reading... unless you are family and like to complain when there aren't regularly scheduled posts. In that case, wait 4 days and come back and read that one then.

Michael is cracking up about the glow in the dark bath...I think he really wants to do it too. I think we might have some glow sticks left too. Shoot...I might even have to try that one. One of the best ideas I seen in a long time!
