Looking a lot like Christmas here!

Lots of Christmas preparation has been going on at our house. I guess that is why you have seen so little of us here.

This whole month in Ellis and Alaire's class at church we have been talking about Jesus and his birthday. This past Sunday I got to help out with their birthday party. This is half of the class and I love the looks on my kids faces. Alaire, in red is over the top excited and, Ellis who is beside her in green is excited but you would never know it by his face.











Ellis kept asking about my tree topper and why it wasn't a star. After dinner one night we did a Christmas ornament craft and he decided that instead of an ornament his would be our new topper. No mom could resist that cute face so I helped him craft a pipe cleaner and his ornament into our new tree topper. He is sooooo proud!











Uncle Michael's star has nothing on us!























I just had to add this precious picture. It took everything in me to get her to sit still for it but I'm so glad I put in the work. She is so adorable! Don't let her looks fool you though she has an ornery streak in her!!

She had 6 Christmas dresses in her closet this year, thanks to some great hand me downs, so we started wearing them as soon as Thanksgiving was over. This is what she wore last Sunday. It was missing the bow around the waist so we just added one from my ribbon collection. I couldn't pass up the chance to make her a hairbow that matched so we were a little late to church but as my grandmothers always said sometimes beauty hurts.


There are lots more festivities planned and the presents under the tree are just killing them so stay tuned for more Christmas updates.
