We have been doing lots of bike and scooter riding around here lately. Ellis has discovered that his scooter in the bowl at the skate park is really really fun; and since Alaire thinks she can do anything Ellis does she has tried it out too.... in her bathing suit and tennis shoes none the less!We have also been to the dirt track a few times and Ellis was so excited last night when he rode the entire track, start to finish without any help. He has be waiting for that moment for a year!
I'm sure there will be pictures to come of Alaire on the Strider bike that Ellis learned on. We pulled it out yesterday and she was excited to give it a try.
I'm adding a few random videos over on the sidebar for those that are interested. There are two of Ellis riding and one of Alaire saying her Bible verse. I'm also adding a video of them saying, "you can say that again." Alaire has been saying that for the last 2 weeks and it is hilarious to Trevor and I. She uses it in the correct context but she also says it in a weird deep voice that doesn't actually come out much in the video. She is one funny kid!

Ellis is just following in the Oakes daredevil tradition. Just ask Trevor about some of his exploits! Alaire is so cute in her helmet. But be careful, she may turn into a Tomboy. Love, O'Pa
what a fun place.. we just have sidewalks and they make me nervous. I read your previous post about Alaire wanting to wear pink, dresses, etc.. and then being the dirtiest kid... so Anna. She 's a total mess within an hour and by that point has changed clothes 3 times!
