During some of my random blog reading time last week I found this blog that had a really fun Easter Egg activity to do with kids. They offered a free download of a sign saying "You've been egged!" The idea is to be really sneaking and head over to a friends house with candy filled eggs, hide them all over the friend's yard, post the sign, and run!!
Alaire chose to egg Ashley and Ellis chose his buddy down the street Lane. It was so fun! We knew Ashley wouldn't be home so on Sunday afternoon we did her house first. My kids are never quiet so it was so funny to seem them trying to be sneaky.
Ashley called us later that night to tell us that the Easter Bunny had come to her house! She said that Annie and Daddy Warbucks had told E.B. that she would be out of town for a few days so he better hit her house early! She was so excited and when I told Ellis all that she had said he said, "Man mom we were really sneaky!"
I didn't get any pictures of Lane's house. We had to do his in the dark because there has never been a child that plays outside more than Lane! Trevor walked the kids down to his house and then I drove the getaway car behind them. The fun part about that one was that we got to sit in our car in the driveway and watch Lane hunt for his eggs.
** Disclaimer: Yes, Alaire owns hair bows.....No! she doesn't like to wear them. Some days I fight it but today was not one of those days. :)

Cute idea! My parents' neighborhood does something similar to that on Halloween. It's cool because everyone gets into it. :) I love Ellis' skates! He looks like he has pretty good balance!
