So we have been a bit out of commission in the last week. We have no idea how, but Ellis somehow got hand foot and mouth disease. It sounds weird but it is just a virus that little ones can get that causes a rash on the hands and feet and sores in their mouths. He was sick for about a week and we unknowingly gave it to one of his best buds from Sunday School. He had lots of "owwies" in his mouth and didn't have much of an appetite but that was really all we had to deal with. While he was sick we had someone from church offer us a fairly new twin bed. We had been looking for a new bed for him so that we could get him out of the toddler bed he was in. When she offered it to us we jumped on it. Trevor picked it up one morning and we bought him a mattress that afternoon. He loves it and he really loves the drawers under it. Trevor and I love it too, it was exactly what we were looking for.......free!

Please place Ellis on pause. He is growing up way too fast and making his Pappy feel really old. Seems like just yesterday we were crowding two beds into that little room on Lower Terrace.
He looks like you cassie in the last picture. I'll tell Pappy that he better hurry and send the sheets.
The drawers underneath make that the perfect bed for Ellis' room! Couldn't ask for a better "deal".
(Now you and Trevor won't have to sit on the floor to read his bedtime story books! Awesome!)
