About a week ago somehow the topic of a haircut came up and ever since Ellis has been saying that he wants his hair short like Daddy's. I thought I could skate around the whole subject (I don't think I can part with the curls just yet) by telling him that Mommy doesn't know how to do short cuts just long ones. He asked if Daddy knew how and I told him "no, you have to go to a special school to learn how to do short boy cuts." Then he asks who has gone to that school and I told him the only person I could think of was Miss. Kimmi.Last night when we told him that we were going to give him a haircut he asked if I had been to school. This morning I asked him if he liked his hair he gave me a naughty look and said "no, I want it short like Daddy's, I need Miss Kimmi to come home." (Don't worry Miss Kimmi there is not buzz cut in his near future!)

luke had ringlet curls all over his little head. i cut his hair short and it's never ever been the same. still makes me a little sad... =(
I love his hair the way it is, but if he wants to be like daddy how can you say no.
Tell my little buddy that Wammy has special clippers that she uses on Pappy, Michael and Bryce. She kows how to do it. But we did actually take Michael to the barber shop and he got a high and tight. The barber wasn't too sure I knew what I was talking about. What does he know. I love the curls and I think he is going to look so much different and older when ever he gets a hair cut. I'm with Leigh Ann...he just won't be the same.
Please Please Please dont cut the curls.... I love them. I had to cut John Hunter's a little because my mom had it in pigtails... but it is too darn cute. You know its bad when you use the blow dryer on your 1 year old every morning.... SAVE THE CURLS!

I just read your list of Ellis quotes. They are too, too funny! I think my favorite is 'boys and berry not girls and berry'....or maybe 'the other Max'. :-)

The boy wants a manly cut. Give it to him. Plus skate boarders have short hair and surf boarders have long hair. No surfing in CO.
Plus don't let wammy near him. Have you ever seen Pappy's hair?
