Oma and Opa are here to visit this week and I'm finding that I need to take more pictures.
Alaire has been showing them all of her new tricks. She NEVER stops! It is up down, up down, up down with her. Her favorites are the stairs, the coffee table (especially if their is food there), and the gate. Oma and Opa have both been doing cover the coffee table corner and remove her from the stairs duty.
Ellis has been enjoying his time with them as well. He has already been to McDonald's for breakfast with Opa and on his first golf outing with Dad and Opa. It sounds like the golf went well, minus one mishap involving him telling Opa to "just hit it" after a few to many practice swings in his opinion.
We have been for ice cream with them as well. It was a real treat for both of the kiddos, Alaire actually got to have a few bites and Ellis got to get a red dipped cone!
Yesterday we took them to the zoo so that Ellis could show them around. Alaire actually got to get out of the stroller a few times to check things out and she loved what she saw! She sqealled her way all the way through the monkeys.
We finished off out trip with a train ride and then lunch at KT's BBQ!
Just thought you would enjoy seeing Ellis "splashing." He did this in nearly every puddle in the "rainforest."
Sorry there are no pictures of Oma. I will get right on that! We still have a few more days with them so who knows what we will fall into next.

I think the engineer hat is awesome! Looks like he will be able to wear it for a few years! Sounds like you all are having tons of fun...wish we could be there sometime soon...doesn't look too promising. Now, are they monkeys or gorillas? Show the gorillas to Alaire...I know she will love them because her Wammy wants to bring one home for the backyard. Those babies are so cute. Love the rainforest puddles too.
cass, that baby girl could not look more like you!
