Yesterday was a big day for Ellis. He go to go the the Fire Station!Trevor's Ministry Assistant's husband, Bernie is a fire fighter. Ellis has loved Bernie before he even met him. We have been talking about going to see Bernie at work for ever but Saturday we finally got around to it.
Bernie gave us the royal treatment. We got to go in the station, climb up on top of the ladder truck, sit in all of the different seats, see the maps that they use, and feel how heavy all of the different parts of the uniform were.

First of all let me just say that I LOVE his outfit! Matches the engine quite well. Wow...next time we bring Michael to CO I am hoping Bernie will give us the royal treatment. We will even take food...what ever he would like. What a fun day. I am sure that Ellis will remember and talk about it forever.
Ellis isn't even as big as one of the engines tires!! You can see he is loving every second of this! Loved the 2 Oakes men in their fire helmets. Great pictures.
You can see how excited he is in all of the pictures! I love it! The pictures of alaire and her cheeks are too much, she is adoreable!
What a fun trip...that's like every little boy's dream!
