By request
I have had a request for a blog devoted to Trevor's latest facial hair. If it were up to me I would not acknowledge it's presence at all, but since there was the request I will oblige.
Let's just start out by saying that Trevor is a Youth Minister and this already explains a lot.
He has been on a "build a house in Mexico" trip for about 15 years straight, he loves a good dare and if it involves facial hair that is even better, so on the spring break trip to Mexico this year when someone suggested Mustache May he was all for it. From what I hear there were at least 4 or 5 of the coaches that were all in but having seen most of them recently without the promised mustache I'm thinking Trevor and one other were the only ones to really give it any great effort.
While making this plan for Mustache May he must have failed to remember that he had a wife at home that is less than fond of excess facial hair. Oh well, looks like I will just do what I usually do when this kinda thing happens, just grin and bare it! It's almost June right, and I'm sure it will bring something too but until then I will just be looking forward to the 31st!

This is hilarious! My brother-in-law is a youth minister and he is doing mustache may too!!! I thought he made that up! :) My sister also hates it, she would shave his face in his sleep if she thought she could. ;)
that is so funny! Chris' whole unit is doing mustache may!! so it is even going on in Iraq... good thing for me though is i don't have to see it! :)
Fortunately, for me, O'pa doesn't go in for the facial hair thing. While he was at the Kiamachi's with his dad, they couldn't shave for the week and they both shaved as soon as they got back to Tulsa. (Way back in the old days ... if they were caught wearing a tie ... they cut it off. I don't think that's a problem anymore, but it is still one of their rules.)
As for Trevor's .... well...."This too shall pass!"
So funny... I hate facial hair as well....I'm sure you hope that he doesn't decide to keep the stache!
