Here comes the sun

I finally have a sun burn. It is well into May and I was starting to get depressed. I think this will be the adjustment that I will have to make when it comes to weather here. I was dying that it was snowing a few days past my birthday. The last time I was home the difference was so noticeable. I don't think we ever wore a jacket while we were there and then when we got home we were getting the snow boots out again.

Oh well lets not dwell on the cold. Today, yesterday, and apparently the rest of the week are supposed to be gorgeous and HOT! Alaire can finally wear dresses without sweaters and no shoes or sock to the nursery without me getting a little lecture when I pick her up.

Yesterday we enjoyed the weather by taking the kiddos to a softball game of one of the students. Ellis loved it. He actually watched the game and ate tons of snacks. Alaire was the cutest kid there (surprise surprise) with the awesome hat that Auntie Em snatched for her. After the game we went to a park for a graduation party and then to church. Needless to say everyone slept great last night!
