While the boys were throwing we busied our boys with a little workout. I know he looks clean in this picture but I promise you he made good friends with the mud puddles at the end of the ropes course.
Alaire hung out in the stroller and borroowed Ellis' shades for this picture. I think she was Aunt Sarah's favorite fan in her personal cheering squad.
The boys lasted for all of about 2 seconds watching the shot competition....you guessed it, the mud was calling there names. By the time we had been here for 24 hours I had four pairs of Ellis' pants that needed to be washed. I am thinking those boots were one of my best purchases yet!
They made it over to see Sarah right as she was finishing up and Michael asked (very loud) "did you get first place?" Sarah laughed but she actually got to answer yes!
I had to include this picture of Alaire eating her cereal tonight. I haven't been giving it to her every night but when I do she doesn't really seem to care for it. Tonight on the other hand I gave her a spoon to hold too. I think it helped two fold. First, it captured her attention, and second, when she put it in her mouth to suck on it it helped her swallow the cereal that was already in her mouth. We are all thinking she is looking a lot like her Auntie Em.

So fun that you are at your mom's house! Mike is gone next week for 4 days and I just found out my mom is flying out here. I am so glad and thankful! I know you will have a great week!
Sounds like you hit the concrete running! Good luck with keeping clean clothes available for Ellis! Mud and water are way too tempting for little boys to stay clean long. Glad you had a safe trip. I was concerned with all the bad weather ( high winds, tornado watch, hail, and rain happening in Missouri).
Love ya! O'ma
Playing in the mud...I already know that is something I am going to have a hard time with! :o) But I guess kids love it! Glad you guys are having so much fun!
So mud puddles are what I have to look forward to with Carson....oh great....I HATE being dirty!!
