Guess who has decided to start showing off. In the last two days Alaire has decided to start sitting up. She can sit there for at least a minute or two before she falls. She is also puching herself up on her hands. I can't believe how much faster it all seems to happen with the second. With Ellis I remember thinking is he ever going to sit up but with her all I can think is it doesn't seem time for this yet. And on that note. She definately does not think it is time for food. We have tried bananas, applesause, and now butternut squash. She will not.....and I mean will NOT open her mouth when she sees that spoon coming at her.
She is such a happy baby and honestly cries very very little. She just goes with the flow and is happy with anyone and everyone.

We knew she was close to sitting up! She looks so pleased with herself in that first picture. Not so in the next one!! What a face! She likes to "wear" her food I see. I think I might prefer the closed mouth routine to the spit it back at you trick.

She looks so much older in these pics! Wow... she is super cute... I bet she will have so much fun playing in the pool this summer with Anna in Pagosa. She will be crawling before you know it and then the real work begins! Wait until you have 2 toddlers!
