We're going on an airplane ride

I have been pretty bummed the last few days because Trevor is going to be leaving to speak at a camp in a few days and I had wanted to go home for the week but after searching and searching for airline tickets I came to realize that unless a ticket was going to fall in my lap Ellis and I were staying here.

This afternoon my dad called and asked me if we still wanted to come. I of course said yes but was still a little confused. He called me back while we were feeding Ellis dinner and said that we had a ticket to Dayton on Thursday to stay with Pappy and Gammy for a little over a week. When I hung up I was doing a little dance and singing a song to Ellis that went a little like this (you can put it to any tune you like) "We're going on an airplane ride, we're going on an airplane ride, yeah, yeah."

Keep checking towards the end of this week and the begining of next because I'm sure the blog will be overloaded with stories to tell from our trip to Gammy and Pappy's house. I'm sure that they are already making plans for us.

Cass,
If you and Ellis make it to LEX you need to stop by and visit John Hunter and me... Kendra White!

Emmy nothing..I think Gammy should be the first! Cleaning already and getting everything ready. I was thinking of asking Peep to bring some fishing stuff and we could take the boys fishing...Bryce says he is up for that! And a day trip to Lexington sounds great!

So I am not the only one who visits mom and dad's when my hubby goes on business! Have fun, it's always great to have extra hands to help and get a little "mommy time" too. :) Sounds like our lives are quite similar in some ways....I don't know about you but I am a bit tired of moving! :) Enjoy your visit.
