We have decided that Ellis has gotten to the point where he is to disruptive to stay with us during youth group so last night was his first Sunday evening in the nursery. On about the third song someone opened the door to the youth room and said that they needed me in the nursery. I was met at the gym door with a crying little boy that had a perfectly shaped square bump on his left eye brow. He had fallen into the bottom of one of the rocking chairs. I gave him some Motrin and attempted to put ice on it but anyone with half a brain knows how long the ice stayed on. He slept just fine and the swelling has gone down a ton. Today he looks like he was in a boxing match. I guess we will try the nursery again next Sunday evening, hopefully with a little better luck. I thought is was funny because the lady that was watching him was saying that she was just happy that there was no blood. We were laughing because in about the last month and a half three of her four children have had some sort of head wound requiring stiches or butterfly bandaids. Oh, what I have to look forward to!

Oh, my gosh! That is one big goose egg. I'm telling you right now that you better get your own first aid kit...and they will know you on a first name basis at the ER.
Looks like he's got a hard head. That picture will be a good one for his wedding slide show.
