Yesterday we went to Lawrence to visit some friends from Charlottesville who are here visiting their family. They have a little girl named Ellie who is a few months older than Ellis. When we used to hang out with them in Charlottesville Ellis and Ellie were oblivious of one another but not this time. Ellie is able to sit up so we sat her on the floor and I held Ellis up right beside her. Ellis just kept wanting to touch Ellie and put his arm around her, at one point he just wouldn't stop laughing at her. Ellie on the other hand really wanted to get a hold of Ellis' pacifier. It was so fun to see them and just hang out and watch the two babies together I just wish that we could see them more often but they said that they should be back again sometime this summer to see Ellie's grandparents. We stayed out way past bedtime and I have heard all about it today! There has also been another new development today. For the last few weeks whenever Ellis makes noises Trevor and I will clap his hand over his mouth to make the "ah ah ah ah ah" noise little boys make when they play indians. I've noticed him do it a few times on his own today.

Actually Cassie has this wrong. Sorry but I have to tell it right. Ellis was sitting up on his own. No help from Cassie at all. He is a prodigy. That's my boy!!
