Yesterday was gorgeous here so we decided to take Ellis to his first soccer game. Two of the girls that are in the youth group and also in my small group play and have wanted us to come to one of their games for a while now, but it has been to cold to take Ellis out. It was very sunny today and we sat, as they would say here, "facing west" so the sun was in our eyes for the whole first half. Trevor let me have his hat but we had nothing for the bug so the mom of one of the girls we came to watch gave him her visor. He didnt seem to mind it at all and sat and watched the entire game.
This morning he didn't seem to fond of his cereal so I decided to try some fruit. Trevor stopped at the grocery store on his way home for lunch and picked up some bananas. I wasn't sure what he would think so I just mashed up a little peice of it and gave it to Trevor to get Ellis to try it. We did have to kinda trick him into that first bite, I think that he has come to understand that whenever mom and dad have that spoon thing and are wanting to put it in my mouth it usually has that icky mushy stuff on the end. After the first bite though he was ready for more so I think that tonight for dinner we will have a little mixture of cereal and banana! yum yum!
