Ellis got to have a sleep over the other night. He invited his best buddy Jack over for a very last minute sleep over. It was so last minute that it was actually past bedtime when we got home.
The boys played in his room for a while and then did some giggling with the lights off before finally drifting off to sleep. Ellis woke up at his usual 6:30 but Jack didn't get up until a little after 8. Ellis waited that whole time so that he could have his breakfast with Jack.
They played all morning long and then we packed up and headed to Subway for lunch before taking Jack home. The entire lunch they looked like this. They were coming up with a plan for how they could break open the wall next to them and slime each other with slime guns. I have no idea where that all came from but they thought it was great and I just had fun watching Ellis interact with another boy his age. I'm so glad we met Jack!!
