Trevor has started something new with the youth on Wednesdays that they are calling "2 on 2 off." They spend 2 Wednesdays off campus in homes in small groups and the other 2 Wednesdays on campus for the traditional youth group. At first I was thinking this was going to make for a really long Wed. night for us on the "off" nights where we would be home all day and night without Dad to break things up and make it fun but then we got an offer we just couldn't refuse....
Ireland and Chloe's mom, Kimmi is a small group leader out here so we get to have the girls over 2xs a month for our own "small group." Ellis had a blast last night and it made those long last few hrs. without dad go so much faster!
We introduced them to a few more boyish play things, the spider man tent and of course the skateboard! Everyone tried out the skateboard but Ireland suggested she get her picture taken on it while doing a trick that Ellis taught her that we call "nose up."
This was the best picture that I could get of Ellis and Chloe they were much to busy in the tube.

Can't wait for our next Wed. together.....but Nana better watch out because Ellis is requesting her as an additional "small group" attendee.

That is so funny! I am so gald the girls have Ellis to play with! Ireland is still tlaking about your house! They both loved it!

I laughed out loud at those pictures of Ireland b/c I can so see her doing that. She is such a character. How fun that you get to have them over on those nights. I know how you feel about itbeing a long day with daddy being gone all day and night when Matt plays basketball on Mondays. Oh well, the joys of bein ga stay at home mom!
