We have had to start using the gate to keep Alaire out of the kitchen so she was banished to the living room today as I started dinner. Most of the time I could hear or see exactly what she was into but when things got quiet I decided to go investigate. Here is what I found. She was so excited and proud of herself. The tears came a few seconds later when she could not figure out how to get herself back down.

Alaire must really want to keep up with Ellis! Glad your stairs are carpeted.... you may need another gate. (Was Ellis running through the sprinkler during all this?)

I remember these days, but we can't gate off our kitchen...just the rest of the house (as we live in a gated community, even at 3 1/2 & 21 months!)... I LOVE the pics of her holding her own cup with the help of her feet and from the ZOO! That is our favorite place... so next time it's cool and I don't have extra kids, let's go!
