Random Updates

It seems like things never slow down in the summer and this summer has proved to be no different than the rest. I have been slacking on the blog lately and that means I have way to much to update so you are going to again get the short version.

Alaire is crawling in, over, and through anything she wants. She is slowly beginning to lift her belly while she crawls and I'm really hoping she masters this so she doesn't have dirty bellied clothing like Ellis had no matter how many times I scrubbed my floors. She (and the kitchen floor) now have a steady diet of goldfish. I feel like no matter how many times I sweep the floor there is always something under my table. She now loves refried beans, cheese, crackers, and nutri-grain bars. Everyday I'm trying to come up with something else soft that she could try.

Ellis is now very attached to his basketball "forms" as he calls them. (oh, wait that is nothing new) No, really we have now had to tell him that he may wear his uniforms at home whenever he wishes until we are going somewhere. If we are leaving the house then Mommy and Daddy get to tell him what he will wear. The real new thing in his life is the giving up of the pull-ups. The night we got home from Wammy's we decided to give the night a try without them and ever since he has only had one accident through the night.

Ellis has also become the "Alaire is crawling in the kitchen" police. I'm beginning to think that he will be a great asset to us in her teenage years!

I will leave you with an Ellis quote.

We break the goldfish into little pieces for Alaire before she eats them. One afternoon she was sitting at the table and Ellis told me he was sharing his goldfish with her bot not to worry he was "crumbing them first."

She is getting so big! I'm glad that she is turning into such a good eater for you, that gives me hope! Kendra spits out just about everything I try to give her. :)
I love the Ellis quote, he is so cute!

please, have ellis give ellie lessons in P.T.. I'm thinking I might be able to have Anna trained before Ellie ha ha! Really, it is our crazy travels that have prevented much further success at the potty! Love the pictures and I sweep constantly as well.
