We packed our last day full of activities. We went on a crazy drive deep into the woods and found another hike. It ended up that we didn't think our kids would make it so we just stayed by the river and played around on the rocks while the Sheltons finished the hike. Ellis and I took off our shoes and stuck our feet in the freezing cold water. We threw rocks and I made a rock sculpture that Ellis knocked over shortly after I took the picture.
After naps we went back to our favorite restaurant for the third time and then for ice cream before finishing our night off at the pool.

I'm so glad you are had such a wonderful time in Pagosa. (Some of the pictures reminded me of a vacation we had on the western slope near Ouray. We were in a pop-up trailer. It rained so hard and the road was so muddy that we couldn't get out for most of the week! I guess I'm crazy because it's one of my fondest vacation memories with the boys... they were 6, 4, and 2, I think.)
Looks like so much fun!!!! The kids look like they had a BLAST!!! Maybe next year Ellis can go to Canada with Bryce Dustin and Peep. Sorry Alaire we know you can't!
I think I have just found a new piece of yard art...the pile of rocks. It looks like the ones that we saw in Maui.
