Alaire has decided that she is going to feed herself from now on. She loves anything that we "crumb" for her (cheese, crackers, bananas, potatoes.) Trevor and I both have a hard time getting her to eat any of the baby food that we try to give her with a spoon but Ellis on the other hand is usually successful.
She has also started to hold her cup on her own, usually with the help of her. feet.

Anna did this early as well. She was soooooo independent and still gives me heart attacks daily, but it is nice that she is totally feeding herself much more early than Ellie.

That is so adorable that Alaire will eat from Ellis! :o) You have such darn cute kids!!!
There is definitely a mutual love connection going on with these two! (Alaire looks like she simply adores her big brother!)
