Only one photo for this post, it seems that I didn't even really have time to pick up my camera because we were so busy yesterday. In the morning after getting Michael on the bus Ellis and Opa did a little puddle jumping and basketball hooping outside while Oma, Alaire and I hung out in the living room. I'm sure it will come as no surprise that Ellis was in his 2nd outfit by about 9 am and was in need of his third! It rained for most of the morning but around 10 am it looked like it was becoming a gorgeous day so Ellis and Opa took Opa's new car to the car wash. Opa said Ellis was screaming in fear as the entered but the man working that morning gave him a lolllipop, and we all know lollipops can cure just about anything. Shortly after there return it began to rain again (doesn't it always seem to work that way.) As soon as Alaire woke up we headed to Skyline for a little lunch and then back home for naps. We made a quick trip to Target after naps and Ellis got a new basketball uniform (which I'm sure will make just as many apperances on this blog as the current one) some jean shorts and a t-shirt that says "I get my muscles from my dad." Alaire got the cutest little pink dress that I'm hoping will be her outfit home as long as its warm enough. Dinner was quick so that we could be sure to make it to Dairy Queen before Oma and Opa had to get on the road. As some of you may know I won the Oakes Tournament Challenge and that meant that Doug had to buy me a blizzard. My victory was tasting extra good so I thought we should capture a picture, but upon viewing that picture I chose not to share my tired eyes and lack of togetherness for the day. Instead you are viewing a picture of Ellis eating his cone and I promise you that if I had taken it just moments later it would look very much like the picture I took of him a few days ago going to town on another chocolate cone.

I think it goes without saying that we had a great time with Oma and Opa while they were here and they did an incredible job at fitting in so much spoiling in so little time! Thanks so much guys and can't wait to see you again, hopefully next time it will be with Trevor.

I demand the winning photo make an apperance! It is necessary that our kids have this day marked in their minds.

And if you have a pic of my opa when the rain started falling?

O'pa and Cassie are in the "Blizzard" pic. Since I took the picture, I'm sad it hasn't appeared in the blog.
