How it all began....

We are now in Cincy and Daddy has crossed the border into Mexico with a bunch kids for the spring break trip to build a house. As soon as we got here Ellis eyed the basketball hoop. It took everything in me to get him to put some play clothes on before he went out to play with Michael and Luke.
Shortly after the garage basketball began they decided to change it up and play a little mud puddle ball. It took me only about a half a minute to realize that I should have doubled the amount of play clothes that I brought for him. When the game began in the "pond" Auntie Em and I hit Walmart for a pair of rain boots.

Alaire has spent most of her time here so far kicked back in someones arms or in the new chair that wammy got for her.

This morning after we talked Ellis out of wanting to go to school with Michael it was off to the puddle again. This time the object of choice was the wheelbarrow and a rake. He ran around for about an hour and then played a little more basketball with Pappy.
After a little fun in the wet stuff outside we have moved on to the indoors for a little brownie action. Stayed tuned for more from Wammy and Pappy's.

Looks like fun! I'm so glad you guys are able to utilize the cheap tickets from my mom since we can't! :o) I am sure your mom loves that she gets to see you guys so often now! I can't believe how big Ellis (and Alaire) get in every blog it seems!

I can't believe that you made brownies without me...I was going to help lick the bowl. But some of us had to go to work today. Don't do anything else fun until I get home...oh that's right we get to go to a track meet.
