Adventures with Auntie Em

I told you this would be making many future appearances on this blog so consider yourself lucky that you saw the first time he wore his new bball jersey....pretty soon I'm sure we will be sick of it together!














We met Auntie Em today at her house to pick her up for lunch before Sarah's track meet. Unfortunately Ellis fell asleep on the way there so she just ran into Penn Station to get our sandwiches and then we ate in the car. Sarah's meet was freezing so we only stuck around for shot put. (She got 4th, wahoo.) Ellis carried his sandwich around with him the entire time we were at the meet and when we finally got home he traded it in for a cupcake that Erika brought for him.


Last week it rained like crazy here and my parents basement got water in it so it has been off limits to the boys all week while we try to get it dried out. Today they asked if they could go check on it for me and when I heard them yelling "ahhhhh" I went down stairs to see this. It kinda looked like they were riding the waves.





After feeding him a blue million jelly beans Auntie Em asked Ellis if he wanted to go up stairs and snuggle with her. The snuggling has lasted for all of two seconds and now Emmy is getting what was coming to her. Someday she will learn that sugar is the enemy. Michael is also bored so I suggested he ask Em for some ideas....

Go read a book.

I hate books.

Take a bath.

I don't like baths.

Clean your room.

Thats boring.

See how long you can hold your breath.

Ahhh finally a laugh.

(The motorcycles are now back on tv so Michael is busy at the moment.) Auntie Em has rolled over but Ellis has resumed his face slapping followed by "Auntie Em, Auntie Em."
