Our busy schedule

We have been crazy busy this past week and although we were doing tons of things that would've made for great blogs I just didn't have a minute to post or even take a picture. Our church did a drama for Palm Sunday that took up most of the service time. Trevor played Jesus in it so with the time he wasn't growing his beard he was learning his lines. It was a really powerful drama that a creative team at the church wrote; he said in one service they even got a standing ovation
Saturday morning we went to the church to watch a few Upwards Basketball games. Trevor did the devotionals during halftime for the parents. Ellis thought it was so cool that we were going to a basketball game. A few weeks ago I went through his closet and pulled out some of the clothes that may still fit him this summer. When he saw the basketball jersey it was all over. He has worn that outfit at lest 2-3 times a week ever since.

After church on Saturday night we rushed back home to go to the rec. center. The sattelite church near our house had rented it out for the evening. I had been wanting to check it out since last summer but we never make it over there. It is within walking distance of our house and now that we have been there I know we will be back!! We had a blast. We spent all of our time in the pool. They had a lazy river kind thing that Ellis loved and then a kids section of the pool that is very similar to the srinkle park that we go to when we are at Wammy and Pappy's house. Alaire even went swimming for the first time and she looked so cute in her swim suit from Auntie Em....man I wish I had taken pictures.
We have been waiting for what seems like forever for our new library to open and Saturday was the day. We didn't get to go for the grand opening, we were just to busy. We decided to go today and it was a huge hit. Ellis watches Curious George almost every week day and at the end they tell you to visit your local library to find more books on curious george. Ever since Ellis found out that we now have a "local library" he has thought George lived there.
We did puzzles, played with toys, read books, colored and pasted, and Alaire even took a nap. I was hoping to sign Ellis up for a reading group but every one that they offer for his age has a waiting list, oh well that may be better....seeing as we never seem to have enough time.
Just thought you would like to see Alaire's green. She is running a little low on green so we went with green socks and a bib that has a green frog on it.
Here is our loot from the "local library". We came home with 10 books and 3 movies.
