He is a big boy

My little guy is getting so big. He got a new car seat today. It pains me to look back and see him in it. He just looks so old and I guess he is. He can carry on a conversation with any adult, well that is as long as they don't mind answering "what for?"

Tonight he ate his dinner at the table while Trevor and I made our dinner. We both really wanted to see the b-ball games so we decided to eat our dinner on the couch since Ellis was basically done by the time ours was finished cooking. When Ellis saw the two of us he thought that looked fun so he told me he needed a little more rice and "I need my plate on my knees."

Currently I'm listening to him negotiate with his dad about his bed time. Trevor keeps telling him that is is almost time for bed and he says "but it's Saturday, lets play a game!" I have no idea how he knows that it really is Saturday. As we drove into town tonight for church he said "oh there is Walmart dad. Where is Taco Bell?"

They have picked up their golf clubs so I guess Ellis has won this one for now.

Trevor knows he won't be seeing Ellis for a while... so I can understand why he would give in to playing a game of golf with him. He is getting bigger, that's for sure! Pray all of you have safe trips this week.

Love Ya! O'ma

Wal Mart and Taco Bell are 2 of Ellie's faves! She loves them both so dearly and so do we. They are getting so grown up and so cute!
