Walking into church tonight it was so pretty. We barely needed our jackets. During the service tonight our worship minister Tim (who is from Australia) was saying that he really likes Easter here being in the spring (there is is fall). He spoke of how symbolic the new growth all around is and then how at times in CO we get a spring snow and he couldn't help but think of Jesus' blood washing us white as snow. This is what we saw on our way out of service.

Not the greatest backdrop. I almost forgot to get a picture of us tonight on Easter Saturday so we just got a quick photo in Trevor's office before heading home. I'm hoping to get a picture of us in our 2nd Easter attire by the flowers in the sanctuary tomorrow.

Can someone please tell me why it is that the 5 month old who really doesn't have a clue what is going on can smile and look at or near the camera for every single picture and the 2 year old can look no where near it even with the bribe of a fudge round? There wasn't another person in the room when I took these. What in the world is he looking at?

One more thing; you may have noticed that this is not the planned Easter Sat. outfit for Alaire. I'm going to give you the short version but shortly after taking her picture in the planned outfit to post on the blog she defiled it with one of her yellow explosions that we have become accustomed to so I just thought there would be something terribly wrong about wearing it for Easter.

I love the idea of EB on Saturday for special cases like Preacher's kids. The whole family needs to be involved with those holiday traditions and fun!
Loved the Sat. Easter pictures... especially those with Ellis totally uncooperative! Looking forward to Sun.'s pictures!
Love Ya! O'ma
EAster smiles are the best. Love how Ellis loves the camera. And Alaire, well, she is just a natural...wonder where tht comes from?
What a bummer about the poopy easter outfit. OH well.. yeah my 2yr. old is totally against smiling most of the time. Although, I took them to portrait innovations like picture people and got a great picture! It is much easier now with Anna standing up. Keep trying!
I'm laughing out loud reading this blog and looking at the pictures... fabulous!
Couldn't resist another look at those "photo booth" pictures of the grandkids!
