Here is an excerpt of this evenings prayer but before you read try to picture him sitting there with his head down eyes squinting semi shut and nearly making his eyes cross eyed from looking really hard to the left so that he could scan his room. After each "Dear God" his head goes for a deep dip.
Ellis: "Dear God my airplane, Dear God my shoes, Dear God my airplane, Dear God my light, Dear God my wall, Dear God my airplane, Dear God my digger.
Cassie: "okay Ellis that was good now its mommy's turn.
Ellis: "no, no I do one more."
Cassie: "okay one more."
Ellis: "Dear God my airplane, Dear God my light, Dear God my jeans."
Ellis, (at the urging of his father): "Dear God my mommy, Dear God my sister."
He hasn't quite gotten the hang of the "thank you" part but we are getting there.

so funny... ellie does the same squinty eyes thing... she is so confused about calling Him "God"
and then sometimes "Father". We are teaching her the song "sanctuary" it is oh so cute.. we will have to post a video soon. Hopefully, they will always want to pray with us.
