Alaire had her four month check up today. She is growing like a weed as my mom would say. Her head is in the 50% as well as her weight (13lb. 15 oz.). It also looks like she is continuing on her 100% streak for her height. She is 26.5 inches. I knew she was going to be long again because whenever I put her in those jumper outfits without feet it looks like she is in knickers. (I think that is what they are called.) Anyway, they said she is perfect, but we already knew that. She got four immunizations. I just hate watching them give shots. I don't think it will ever get easier. Ellis came along for the ride this time. He had a million questions for the Dr. and nurse and they were so patient with him. He even got to hold the Dr.'s otto scope.
Just in this last week I feel like Alaire has developed so many new skills. When she sits in her bouncy chair she is always reaching for the toys that hang above her head. When I lay her on the floor she wiggles herself around to figure out what she wants to go for then she flips over and reaches for all its worth. She loves all of the toys that she has started to discover but I think I would have to say that her favorite form of entertainment by far is still her brother. She belly laughs sometimes and Ellis is always the one that she is laughing at.
**On a totally unrelated topic, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions that I could add to our Netflix. We don't ever go to the movies anymore so we don't really know anything about new releases. Let me know if there is a movie you have seen recently that you would suggest or if there is one you just know we would like. Thanks, and as Ellis says....over and out.

Cassie,
I'm glad she is doing so well. Love the pic! She is tall... Anna was 27 inches at her 1 yr. checkup and 15lb. 15oz.....Enjoy your nursing time cause soon you will get the joy of baby food (yuck) and we all know the amount of work just increases a ton! We never watch movies so I have no suggestions... Although, Mike does watch some.. he could give Trevor some suggestions for guy movies!
She is so tall and cute! :) It looks like both she and Ellis take after you, tall and skinny.
Hmmm... movies. You've got a bunch of good recommendations already! I have no clue if these are still in theatres or out yet but some good chick flicks are:
No Reservations
27 Dresses
Enchanted (funny while cheesy)
PS I love you (will make you cry)
And that's all I have... I only wanted to see chick flicks when I was preggers. :D
Movies here it goes.
1. RAD (could be the best movie in history) If you have any questions call me i can fill you in.
Alaire's picture is priceless! Glad she is growing and alert to her surroundings and especially to her big bro! Hope she always finds him entertaining.
Love Ya! O'ma
Wow, Alaire is getting so big! It's amazing how fast they grow!
One movie Matt and I watched the other night was "Facing the Giants"... and it was REALLY good! A church actually made the movie and I must say that I thought it was pretty well done for a low budget film. If you do get it, make sure you watch "the making of" part because it's just as good as the movie. Isn't Netflix the best???
Did you know you can sign up on Netflix to somehow connect with other people you know who have it to see what movies they've gotten and what they thought of them? That might be a good way to get movie suggestions, too. =o) Just a thought.
