You will have to check with my mom's blog for pictures. Im to grossed out with the thought of myself to sumbit myself to having my picture taken. Its a long long long story so you are just getting the short version from me.
My mom and I are exhausted. Ellis got over the mystery illness pretty quickly but Michael just kept confusing us (and waking us up in the middle of the night). He would have a temp. of 103 for a few hrs. and then he would be totally back to normal for a few hrs. We even got a call from Luke's mom saying that she had taken Luke to the doctor and he had strep throat and scarlet fever. We still passed off Michael's illness because he wasn't complaining of anything and every morning he woke up as happy as could be. I can't tell you how many times we asked what was hurting. When the fever wouldn't let up this morning mom decided to take him in. So Michael has a double ear infection and strep throat. Ever since the diagnosis Emmy and I have had sore throats too. (Kinda like when you hear of someone having lice.) Tonight when my mom was putting Michael to bed she told him that he would not go to school tomorrow but that he would probably be able to go on Wed. He replied "but probably not Thursday or Friday," to which she said "no, I think you can go then", he comes back with "for crying out loud mom, I am sick!"
Now the gross part to make it just a little funnier is that I developed a blocked tear duct in the middle of all of this. My right eye is all swollen and red. I look pretty weird. I know I'm sounding like such a wimp but it actually does hurt. I asked the parmacist what to do and he said just apply a warm washcloth and hope for the best but if that didn't work it would be surgery!! I'm still looking pretty funny but I assure you I will not be getting surgery. Emmy says it has happened to her a few times and she just rents a really sad movie and it just works itself out. The good news is I think I have The Notebook as our next movie from Netflix. The washcloth didn't work so the movie is next in line. Let me know if any of you have any ideas to add to the list.
Tomorrow is the real test of my sanity. We are flying home so say a little prayer that the kids are absolute angels and my eye miraculously heals on its own. Tonight after dinner Ellis stood up in his chair and said at the top of his lungs. "I go see mine daddy tomorrow." So I guess you could say we are excited.

You guys always have the most eventful trips when you go someplace. Hopefully your trip home will be easy and all will go smoothly! I guess we shall see!
Push that sucker out with the warm washrag. All of my kids had those as babies, and I have had one as well, and you start from your nose and push it out toward the edge of your eye, continuing in that direction. Hope something works! Doesn't sound like a fun flight ahead, but who knows, maybe everyone will sleep :)
EmJ had that as a baby - yep, just massage it and push it out. I did that daily to EmJ and it worked great! It'll work itself out, no worries!
O'ma,
Will be praying for you and the kiddos today! Know Trevor will be very glad to have all of you home! Sorry it didn't work out to see you at Jen's for Mayzee's B-Day.
Love Ya!
