Christmas with the Oakes
We spent our last few hours with the Mayzee and Henry playing games and making crazy hairdos. I really wish Ellis got to see all of his cousins more often. They really had fun together this time. He gets to be in on all of the games now because he can talk. I don't think I've ever seen him play so hard.
This is just another crazy hair shot. My camera dried out somewhat, but it still isn't taking great pictures so I decided to bring it with me on this trip and then send it to get fixed when we get home. I just couldn't miss out on all of these shots.
Aria and Meira both loved Alaire. Aria even asked me if she was a girl. When I told her yes she said "good, that must be why I like her so much."
We exchange names with both sides of our family. This year on the Oakes side Ellis got a firetruck and a pirate ship and Alaire got two really cute pairs of shoes.
It seemed like a really quick trip and I'm not sure how much Alaire will really remember of it all. I think she slept through most of. Unfortunately these are some of the only pictures I took. It seems I missed getting Uncle Jeff at all and I'm really bummed that I don't have a picture of Meira doing her little bobble run.

O'ma....
It was such a treat to have you here! ( Ellis and Alaire were a real hit with everyone at church, too, of course.) Already missing you and the noise and energy in the house! Trevor called.... he was on his way home from the airport. Glad he had a safe trip.
Love Ya!
