Thanks for all of the comments about Alaire. I guess I haven't been taking many pictures of her lately because she doesn't do much and Ellis has so much going on right now. This picture is from a while ago but I promise to have a new one of her soon. Maybe during nap time I will sneak away and post all about Alaire.
As for Ellis the potty training is going better than I had thought. He hasn't pooped in a diaper in over a week so I'm loving that. I think we have had only one accident in the last 3 days. I haven't been brave enough to take him out anywhere in just underwear yet but we did accidentally go to Mcdonalds to use a halloween coupon and when we got home we sat him on the potty and realized that we had forgotten to put a diaper on him. He was dry though so we gave him an M&M. This picture is from a few days ago. When I was dressing him I was asking him where each article of clothing went before we put them on and at first he wouldn't answer me so I put his underwear on his head. He quickly said "oops". If you have ever read Sandra Bounton's red hat yellow hat you will know what he was doing.

Yeah for potty training! You're doing good to have him trying this soon after having Alaire. It's SO nice when you only have 1 in diapers and when you get to stop changing big poopy diapers. You don't realize how gross it is until you don't have to do it anymore. Alaire is absolutely beautiful, by the way. She's such a sweet looking newborn.
I'm sure when Auntie Em gets to CO she will take lots of pictures! And she is going to be bringing the biggest suitcase we have so we can pack it with all sorts of goodies! Love the undies on the head picture...where did you get that book anyway? Hmmm, I wonder. I will have to dig up the picture of you and your sister sitting on the potty with undies on your head...or wait was that just Auntie Em? Keep blogging and sending pictures our way. Wonder if I could fit in Em's suitcase too?
I'm calling you asap about potty training..I think I'm going to start in the next couple of weeks! Way to go Ellis!
