This is our first family photo. My parents took a bunch of pictures of us before they left. This was the only one that I liked. Alaire and Ellis really weren't up for much picture taking and by the looks of the rest of the pictures Trevor and I really weren't either.
Halloween was a real treat at our house. I was excited for it all day. I bought way to much candy (what a shame, I'll have to eat it.) I talked about it a lot with Ellis all day but he still didn't want to wear his costume. That only lasted until we got out first trick or treater. She was a puppy and only a few days older than him. He went running for his kitty costume and then straight to Trevor to put it on him. He still has the cold that Michael passed to him so they weren't out long but he got more than enough candy for any two year old and his mom.
Once he had had enough of the cold weather we took him to Steve and Nana Kelli's house to show off his costume. Unfortunately Nana wasn't there but we did get to see Steve and his motorcycle. We always see his motorcycle when we are there...it's the only one he is allowed to sit on.
Alaire loved her first Halloween as well. She sat near the door and showed off her new digs from Pappy to all of our trick or treaters.
Since we missed seeing Nana Kelli on Halloween we called them the next day and met at Dairy Queen after dinner. Ellis of course had to wear his costume so Nana could see it. He is studying his sprinkles in this picture.
I know this isn't the most becoming picture of Alaire but I had to show off her little socks. I think they are so cute. They are from Wammy and they are made to look like she has on little black dress shoes. I gotta give props to my friend Sarah W. too. This is just one of the many cute outfits that she sent for Alaire.

I see that wearing the costumes on non-Trick-or-Treat days runs in the family. LOvE IT!!!!

Cassie, She is too cute. I love the photo of Ellis on the bike. About six months about my parents bought a bike, well actually a trike. John Hunter thinks it is too cool. But I had to tell you that at Children's Place they have a grey zip up hoodie with thermal lining with bikes all over them. IT is precious and JH will be opening it on Christmas morning!

She's precious! Isn't it so much fun to dress up a girl after having a boy?! Their little accessories are just so much more fun.

O'ma.....
Loved your family picture. It's hard to get just the right expression from everyone at the same time the picture is snapped. Taking tons of pictures is the safest way...just taking 1 is risky.
Halloween is such a fun time.... it's fun to pretend you're someone or something else! Alaire makes an adorable "pumpkin" and Ellis is a cuddle magnet in his costume!
Love Ya!!!

I think your family picture is great! We are about to take some as well cause we have hardly any. It is really hard to get both kids to look that is for sure and nearly impossible to get them both to smile! Alaire is so pretty... I love all her sweet clothes!
