We had the honor of accompanying GG to the Thanksgiving lunch at her new house on Saturday. Trevor helped his Uncle Rick and Aunt Nancy move GG to her new assisted living home last weekend so we have been telling Ellis all weekend that we were going to get to go to a party at GG's new house. GG told us that she has been worrying she may get fat while she lives there.....I can see why!! Honestly it was the best turkey I have ever had in my entire life! I even had Trevor go back and try to find the cook to get the recipe. He didn't find the cook but all of the help assured him that they would find out and get the recipe to GG. I'm sure that GG will be having lots of conversations due to her lunch guests. Ellis and Alaire were the only children there and all of the residents wanted to meet them.
Trevor brought gift for Alaire home today from church. I can't wait until Ellis wakes up so we can hang it in her room. It is from a girl in the youth group and her parents. Her dad is an artist and has been teaching the high school Sunday school class. I don't know many of the details or what he has been teaching but last week Trevor showed me a mosaic that he and the kids had been working on of Jesus on the cross. It is really cool.

Pass the recipe along to us too. We are having our traditional dinner of steak yet again this year. Looks like GG is happy with her new house. And all her new friends...the picture is really good. We are all over the t-shirts.

What a terrifically awesome picture for Alaire's room! I love it! That is really a one of a kind keep-sake for her!
So glad you were able to go to the dinner with GG. Sounds like the meal was a hit and so were you guys. Know Mom loved sharing that time with you.
