This is a picture on request from Wammy. Its weird, the first person I thought of when I saw this one was my brother Bryce.
I was so surprised by Ellis' reaction. He doesn't seem jealous of her at all. He always asks if he can touch her and if she is crying he makes a pitiful face and says "baby sister sad." 
I can not believe how good I feel. With Ellis the first time I tried to get up I passed out and I don't think I actually stepped foot outside of my room until 3 days after he was born. When we finally did get home I basically layed in bed or sat on the couch while Trevor and my mom served me. With Alaire I got to leave the hospital the following day (we are home) and I'm tired but I think it's crazy how nearly normal I'm feeling.
I thought this was so cute. He kept asking me if she had shoes on so finally I took her feet out to show him and tried to explain that she probably would only be wearing socks for a while.
Ellis thought it was very important that he have a bracelet just like the rest of the family so our nurse gave him a button and a bracelet that say Big Brother. He shows it to everyone that comes in.
Oma got here just a few hours after Alaire was born. 
GG got to come to see her as well. Alaire is her 13th great grandchild.
I was holding her and he decided he needed to be up there too.

Love 'em...keep 'em comin'! CAN NOT wait to get there. The suitcase with treasures for Ellis and Alaire is already packed and sitting by the front door. Ready or not here we come!
she does look like Bryce in that first picture! I love her hat. It is so cute. Has Ellis started calling her Alaire yet or does he still call her it?

I love all of the pictures and am so glad Ellis is doing so well. FEeling great after the baby helps so much, that's how I felt and it was great! Enjoy your time with the two of them...I bet you can't wait for you family to get there!

I love it! I love her sweet pink hat... cherish these early days....I'm so glad Ellis is doing awesome. We did not have that kind of luck with Ellie! However, now she adores her.. .So what is Alaire going to be for Halloween? You look great by the way!
hyeah what is she gonna be for Halloween you better hurry up and decide before Michael gets there or she will be a pirate!

Cassie, you don't look like you just had a baby. It looks like to me that Ellis is keeping a close watch on her and tell him the shoe thing will come soon enough. Great job Cassie.
They're both so cute and sweet, Cassie! They make me think of my 2 almost a year and a half ago. :( I did the same thing feeling 100x better after I had Layni than Turner - maybe you're just used to it the second time. Who knows?! I'm praying for you as you adjust to having 2. Appreciate the help you get while everybody's there!
