Long Fun Days

Yesterday was a crazy busy day around here. We ran errands from about 9am to after 1pm. We made trips to Mom's new school where we played on the playground, Sarah, and Michael's schools, ate at LaRosa's and spent a lot of time picking stuff out at the fabric store. Ladybug has made out with 4 new wankies and we decided to get enough fabric to make Ellis a sheet and quilt for the "big boy" bed that he is going to sleep in when we get home. I picked out the fabric like it was he himself picking it out so I'm sure it is going to be a bit gaudy but hopefully it does the trick in making him excited to sleep in his toddler bed. I'll post pictures later tonight but the sheet is John Deere tractors and the quilt is airplanes on one side and diggers, dump trucks and bulldozers on the other.

I guess Ellis was having tractor withdrawl after not having much time on it yesterday so we were outside riding around before we even had time to get any clothes on this morning. After lunch he played downstairs for a while with all of the boys from the neighborhood and is now fast asleep with Thomas the train in hand.

You seem to be at your parents as much as I am.... We will be there alot in the next few weeks as they watch the girls while we try and find a house. They will also watch them while we move hopefully in late september! Oh, we found out our new church does family camp every other summer at the YMCA of the Rockies and they do a ski trip every year around Christmas to Breckenridge! We will see you all soon I am sure. I am not jealous of your hot days being pregnant. There is not much worse than feeling huge and sweating and chasing a toddler.
The "big" bed huh? We haven't tackled that one yet. We ended up giving Ellie the paci back during all the travels this summer. I don't know whether to potty train or do the bed first? Any suggestions? She never tries to crawl out of her crib? Have a great day!

O'ma....

Hope you manage to get some rest before you head back to CO!

Ellis seems to be having a great time on the tractor, etc.! He'll miss Wammy's house and playing with Michael when he gets back home. (Can't blame him!)

Love Ya!
