Ellis loves his daddy. I think we both really look forward to Trevor getting home each day. I read in a book recently that Ellis is getting old enough to know what I mean when I say "Daddy's home" so for the last few days I have tried to say it right as Trevor walks in the door to see if Ellis reacts. When Trevor came home for lunch today Ellis was sitting near the door practicing sitting up. When the door opened he got so excited, he kept looking from me to the door and back. I felt like his face said "say it mom, say it!" The two pictures with Trevor are of Ellis' paci going back and forth from Trevor's mouth to his own. I've been trying to get him to do that with me for a while now but I guess Trevor got the fruit of all of my practice.

The silly face one is after he and Trevor had been sitting on the couch. Trevor lifts Ellis over his head so he can see himself in the mirror directly over the couch. He loves to see himself in the mirror!

Unfortunatly I'm the one who caused the sad face. He was having so much fun eating his new cookie. I took his clothes off and even changed my own because I knew that half of the cookie would be on one of us. When he was just about finished with it he got the last little bit stuck on the roof of his mouth and it made me nervous so I took the rest of it away from him. This did not go over well. I even put him in the bathtub which usually works in a second but he really liked that cookie! It may be a while before we try another one of those.

Just wait until Gammy and Michael get ahold of you Ellis. You will get to try all kinds of new squishy and messy foods foods.

I think your gammy was hitting the bottle when she wrote that!
